Dearest dancer, welcome to this video-course "ART AND TRADITION IN EGYPT: A JOURNEY ALONG THE NILE" Theory and Practice.

One of the greatest needs in the community of dancers is to understand why some dances are like this, from what the traits that define the mood or the way derive.

The material of this course is therefore a collection conceived as a sort of virtual-journey of information regarding the costumes, the jewels, the environment, but above all the native music and dance, which will allow you to understand what is part of the local tradition and what instead is the scenic representation of local tradition.

ART AND TRADITION IN EGYPT: A JOURNEY ALONG THE NILE (THEORY AND PRACTICE) is therefore born from the idea of offering a panorama as clear and simple as possible to anyone with this passion. It is a real virtual journey, from Cairo to Aswan, passing through the desert, the Sa'id, the Fellahin villages, meeting one by one all the peoples who inhabit the country. From how they dress, to the jewels they wear, from the dances to the music of their own tradition. One by one retracing the Nile to the south ... And then the practice with Ahmed Abd Elrazik to understand the basis of the SAIDI, GHAWAZI and NUBIANA dance.
